10/04/2011 - J Street Companies Signs America Votes to 7,784 SF at Demonet BuildingThe J Street Companies today announced the signing of America Votes to a 10-year deal for 7,784 square feet at The Demonet Building at 1155 Connecticut Avenue, NW in Washington, DC’s Central Business District.
Built in 1984, The Demonet is a 94,794 square foot Connecticut Avenue landmark, located in the heart of the Central Business District and just steps away from the amenities of Dupont Circle. The building features a commanding, historic presence on the corner of Connecticut Avenue and M Street and offers sweeping views and spacious, private roof decks. J Street is continuing to lease suites at the building, many of which feature a dominant full floor presence and reserved parking spaces in the Demonet’s private garage.
J Street Principal, Geoff Kieffer, commented, “The unique nature of the Demonet, which allows America Votes to have a commanding, full floor presence, was key to the decision to locate here.”
